21:31, In the port of Skerries
Not that much to tell today. When I woke up, there were 2 people
fishing at the other side of the lake. That's about the most exciting
thing today. Or maybe I should talk about the 'hermelijn' or so
(I don't know the english word for that small animal) that I saw
yesterday creeping alongside my camper?
And again some shots where I did spend last night.
No, let's not do that. Invite me if you like to hear about it :) What
did I do today then? I just continued the scenic tour. I think I shot another
film just by driving towards the eastern coast. The part inland was great,
many small hills, lakes and sleepy villages. The coast was not that great. Most
of the coastline was smelly (I think it was rotting seaweed). Also
most of the eastern coast north of Dublin has been transformed into
a 'phenix-location'. Lot's of the same houses, nicely put together. Each
with the same view on the ocean. Very nice when you own a house with
such a view. But less great when your outside that house...
A beautiful grave-yard with the ruin of a church. See the film photo's
when I get back! (on the R166 south, alomst in Clogherhead)
Tommorrow I will go to Dublin. So I tried to get close to it. I am now in a
'small' place 30km above the city. I am in the harbour, and that was my
intention. I was hoping to make some nice sunset photo's. The whole day
had been perfect weather. But to bad that 2 hours before sunset, the small
clouds had become big clouds. And the rays of sunlight have changed to raindrops.
Just a pity, because the place is perfect. Well maybe I can take some
pictures tommorow at sunrise.
The harbour where I will spend this night. You can already see why taking
pictures will be no good.
Oh and one more thing. I also started to note down how I make the photo's. Not
so interesting for you, but it is also on the site. I need to keep track of
it for myself.
